Guess who has to re-install everything again! Yes, it's me! For some reason, since I re-installed my game due to hard drive-wiping, most NL objects are invisible. Like, I select them from the catalog, but they're invisible. I tried to uninstall the whole EP, but for some reason I can't. I think something went wrong during the installation. Thing is, I think the only way I have to remove it is uninstalling everything including the base game and starting over again. Am I wrong?
Anyway, problems always come in a sort of batch, usually all in the same day. I booked my flight to Germany yesterday. It was more like 'sleepingly filling the form with my information, while listening to music and chatting with my boyfriend'. So, it was more than EPIC when got my boarding pass via e-mail and I saw that I had written that I live in Germany instead of Italy. Panic. Like, 'OMG how do I change this/am I going to lose the 100 Euros I just spent for this ticket' and stuff like that. I eventually solved it with a 3 minutes phone call. I had to repeat like 5 times what I wanted to do with my ticket, but still.
So, template anyone?

Hi again. I thought I'd write this in a post, because it's really important. I've always thought the lots would work fine even if someone doesn't have all the EPs I have - I was sure that building them with items from a couple of EPs would have been enough. Fortunately, engram_au sent me a lovely message in which she explained me this:
Your beach lot is absolutely lovely and I will download it but in order for the maximum number of people to be able to use it, you actually need to list all of the EPs you have and mention whether you have M&G as well. I know that most people these days have all EPs but there are still people on Macs without them.
I also know people can use Clean Installer to install lots. This does not get around the fact that the game saves the lot in a different format in each EP. Which means that if you have any EPs installed other than those listed, they are required or the lot will crash someone's game. SPs other than M&G can be ignored, but EPs and M&G are actually a requirement because, unlike sims, lots actually get saved in a different format and new functions are added every time a new EP is installed.
I really had no idea about this, I just didn't know it. I really feel a noob or something like that, and I really hope I didn't bork someone's game. Just let me know if something isn't working fine. So, from now on: I have ALL Expansion Packs and I have Mansion & Garden installed, so they are unfortunately required. Sorry about this, and thank you Kasia for letting me know. I hope you can forgive me guys.

Hello! How is everyone doing on this Friday evening? I'm feeling quite sad because my boyfriend got back home. On a side note, I'm finally done re-installing my game, and, as you can see, I immediatly packaged a new template for my spamming pleasure.

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments, I'll be replying as soon as I'm done with this post. I've been building and playing around a lot in the last couple of days, mostly because of the glorious return of my insomnia. Also, I've decorated the neighborhood a little bit - seriously, if you need some inspiration, check this out. I'm uploading a cuple more templates between today and tomorrow, because I won't be very active during the next 10 days...
